When are Utility Bills Sent Out?
Water Meters are read and billed bi-monthly.
Utility Bills are mailed out in January, March, May, July, September, and November.
When is my Utility Bill Due?
Payments are due by 4:30 P.M. on the 1st Friday of the following month bills are issued.
Payments are due in February, April, June, August, October, and December.
What are the Rates & Fees?
Water Rate is $6.24 per 1,000 gallons used and Sewer Rate is $7.30 per 1,000 gallons used.
Garbage Collection Rate is $44.38 per Billing Cycle. The Senior Garbage Collection Rate is $28.86 per Billing Cycle.
Customers also pay a $1.00 Billing Charge Fee and a $50 Capital Improvement Fee per Billing Cycle.
Rates & Fees are Effective as of May 2024.
What is the Capital Improvement Fee?
The Capital Improvement Fee funds infrastructure improvement related to the water and sewer operating systems.
How do I Pay my Utility Bill?
To sign up for automatic payments using your checking or savings account, go to
AutoPay Application. This program allows the amount of your bill to be automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account on the due date.
Credit Card payments can be made online at
E-Pay or in-person at Village Hall.
Check or Money Order payments can be mailed to Village Hall or in-person at Village Hall. Please include the coupon from the bottom of your bill with your payment.
After-hour payments by check or money order can be placed in the drop box located between the front windows at Village Hall.
Note: If using a bank’s online bill pay, the bank issues a check to the Village. It is recommended initiating payment at least 10 business days prior to the bill due date to ensure payment is received before or on the due date. Payments are recorded when received by the Village.
Village Hall is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Village Hall is closed from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. Monday-Friday.

What if I Cannot Pay my Utility Bill by the Due Date?
Village offers Payment Plans to customers who cannot pay their Utility Bill in full. To be enrolled in a Payment Plan, contact Village Hall before the billing due date at 847-683-2181 or visit In-Person.
Note: Payment Plans are not meant as a permanent paying option and should be used occasionally. If you need an extension on the due date, contact the Village Hall immediately.
How do I Begin or Terminate Water Service?
To Begin or Terminate Water Service, contact Village Hall at 847-683-2181 or visit In-Person. Alternatively, you can complete the Online Form.
Note: When selling a Property or Moving Out of a Rental Unit, a Final Utility Bill will need to be requested. A Final Water Meter Read must be scheduled as near to the Closing Date or Moving Out date.
How is my Water Meter Read?
Water meter reads are completed remotely and electronically by the Village. The remote reading is completed by a Village vehicle that drives past the building to collect the reading.
What if my Water Meter Cannot be Read?
If an error occurs during water meter reads, the Village will use an estimated water reading. The estimated water reading is based on your average water consumption.
If your water meter read is estimated, please contact the Village to schedule an in-person appointment to collect the water meter reading. Appointments can be made by calling 847-683-2181.
